Classes
Check back often as we add new classes regularly. Students must register and pay in advance. You can register here online, in the store, or over the phone at 352-379-1272. Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to class time for a refund. All classes include up to $10 worth of supplies, unless otherwise stated in the class description.
Stamped & Textured Bracelet – (6-17-13)

Learn to make your own personal inscriptions in metals! Choose from a variety of font and design stamps to write a personalized message on a brass plaque metal blank. Then we”ll use a variety of hammers to texture smaller metal blanks and form filigree pieces that will be transformed into the band of the bracelet. Add holes and link everything together for a unique and totally “YOU” bracelet!

Hammered Spiral Earring – (6-19-13)
Wednesday, June 19th at 6pm
Fun festive earrings for any occasion! Work with thick gauge wires to create a swirling design in copper, brass, silver or gold metal. To finish the pair, you’ll also learn how to add bead dangles of your choice for a perfect finishing touch. Get hands on experience with bench blocks, chasing hammers and a variety of pliers and make a completely unique pair of earrings!

BASIC NECKLACE (6-20-13)

A wonderful class to learn about design, cord, clasps, and putting it all together. Everyone will make a uniquely designed necklace.

VIKING KNIT BRACELET (6-22-13)
Saturday, June 22nd, 10:30am.
Learn an age old art from the Vikings! Using a dowel and fine gauged wire, create a “knitted” tube and then pull thru a draw plate for a flawless tightly woven chain. You can easily turn this into a simple bracelet or necklace and the option to add decorative beads, opens it up to endless possibilities. This project is mostly knitting and takes a few hours to complete so plan on spending a while. You might want to bring a snack. beginner/intermediate

RIVETED WHIMSICAL PENDANT (6-24-13)

Learn a number of versatile cold-working techniques in this fun new class! We’ll be embossing brass and copper blanks using the Vintaj BigKick and pairing them with a variety of fun charms and embellishments to create unique and personalized pendants. You’ll learn about a variety of products for applying colorful patinas, including Gilders Paste, Alcohol Inks and Vintaj Patina Gels. You’ll then shape your own bail from filigree pieces and rivet the whole thing together!
Includes up to $10 in supplies.

MULTI STRAND BRACELET (6-27-13)
